Enter the car’s VIN into our title check tool, and we’ll give you a report on its title status. You’ll learn:
- Whether the seller is the registered owner of the car in state records
- Whether there are any liens on the vehicle
- Whether the title is clean or branded
- Whether the car’s year, make, and model (as per DMV records) match its PrivateAuto listing
- Whether the car has a co-owner in state records
